On September 26-29 2013 in the Ice Palace «Bolshoy» in the Olympic Coastal cluster of Sochi the ХII Annual International Investment Forum «Sochi-2013» is taking place.
The forum in Sochi has been held since 2002. First it used to be a regional economic forum «Kuban», and in 2004 it got the status of an international economic forum. In 2007 it became an investment forum and changed its name for «Sochi».
This year the forum is unique as it is the last forum before the Olympic Games and is taking place in the cluster for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
About 8000 people confirmed their participation in the forum this year, which is 13% more than in 2012. The participants come from all subjects of the Russian Federation including heads of practically all regions and representatives from 40 countries, among those there is Great Britain, Germany, Austria, the USA, Japan, Australia and many others. About 1200 journalists have been accredited.
This year our company have won tenders for design and stand construction services for two exhibition participants within the frame of the forum: for the expositions of the Saratov Region and OAO «Universal Electronic Card» (OAO «UEC»).
At «Sochi-2013» Forum the Saratov Region is presenting the project on the airport complex «Tsentralny» construction on the area of 720 hectares near the settlement of Saburovka. The main goal of the project presentation is to attract investors for the airport building construction, as well as other infrastructure facilities. Governor of the Saratov Region, Valery Radayev, and members of government are taking part in the forum.
After Sochi suffered from a heavy rain and then a storm there was a risk for the work of the city transport system collapse, but rescue teams and communal services managed to get the transport system of the city back to normal, and we could successfully finish works on the stands construction. Besides the Sochi authorities made an additional day off on the day of the XII International Investment Forum «Sochi-2013» OPENING.
OAO «UEC» is presenting advanced IT developments and the project «Universal Electronic Card» at «Sochi-2013» Forum.
